  • That the email service is currently a "free service" as part of being a rostered patient. Dr. Vincent reserves the right to change this free service to a paid service in the future.
  • What sort of questions/issues can this service be used for? Generally I would see email used for communication of laboratory or imaging results with explanation, saving an office visit, communicating to me information about your health, eg: blood pressure readings, blood sugar readings, changes in your family history with respect to significant new illness of a blood relative, changes in medication given to you by another physician.

  • Email should not be used to ask about routine referrals, these requests should be directed to our reception email address or our booking clerk email address.
  • Remember email may not be secure and always remember it leaves a permanent record, so think before you type. For secure requests of say test results, these can be sent as a "password" protected pdf file, attached to an email. In the past I have done this occassionally and we use you 10 digit ontario health insurance number as the password to open the file. If you would rather use a different password to protect a file, than call the office to leave the new password for me.
