Dr. Doris Ullman received her MD degree from McMaster University in 1982. She holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from University of
Waterloo, where she also studied Health Sciences.
Dr. Ullman completed her Residency in Family Medicine at McMaster University in 1985. She then worked as a Clinical Scholar and Assistant Professor at McMaster, while carrying on a private
practice focussed on low-risk Obstetrics. In 1994, she began a 10 year absence from practice, to be at home with her children. Since 2005 she has worked at North Woodlands Medical Centre, with a
special interest in care of older adults, as well as teaching students.
Dr. Ullman holds certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and holds an Independent Licence to practice issued by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Annette Ricci is the registered nurse for Dr. Ullman's in-office practice.
In addition, the practice has one community-based nurse, Rose Abrey. She works
together with Dr. Ullman, to provide care and support for elderly patients in their homes, when they are not able to travel to our clinic.
Dr Ullman has retired as of October 2017, Dr. Lisa Gillis has assumed her practice.
